As the first Co-chairperson of the Davao City Anti-Smoking Task Force, Dr Domz was the driving force behind smoke-free Davao City even prior to the passage of a national tobacco control law in the Philippines. As SEATCA’s Smoke-Free Program Manager, she championed the expansion of smoke-free environments far beyond Philippine shores, serving as Secretary-General of the Smoke-free Cities Asia Pacific Network (SCAN), the Asia Smoke-free Heritage Sites & Cities Alliance, and the Global Alliance for Smoke-free Tourism. Domz was also instrumental in establishing the ASEAN Secretariat office in Jakarta as a smoke-free workplace and spearheading the ASEAN Smoke-free Award.  In the global tobacco control community, she also served as Regional Coordinator for the Global Alliance for Tobacco Control.
