ALERT The alert system will enable advocates to inform the network about tobacco industry tactics in a fast and efficient manner as well as readily respond to emerging issues.

As issues emerge a response or an immediate course of action will be required. This will be facilitated through the alert system.

Advocates will be alerted through the following ways:

1) Information from within country is alerted through the local network;
2) Regional and international partners are simultaneously alerted;
3) Alert information which comes from international partners, Facebook Global Tobacco Control Network and media news.
