With support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) since October 2009, SEATCA implements this project in five low- and middle-income countries in ASEAN (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Philippines, and Vietnam) to achieve effective and efficient tobacco taxation regimes with real and regular tobacco tax increases that will reduce tobacco product affordability in these five countries.
