27 February: SEATCA’s Smoke-free Program Manager Dr. Domilyn Villarreiz was one of the main resource speakers in the workshop to advance the campaign to make Siem Reap a smoke-free city.
The workshop was attended by officials from the Ministries of Tourism, Health, local government, and civil society.
During the workshop, SEATCA also presented a smoke-free heritage award to Apsara Authority, the agency in charge of protecting the Angkor Archaeological Park.
In November last year, Siem Reap Mayor So Platong declared the city administration workplace and its compound smoke-free.
Declaring the administration workplace smoke-free is part of Siem Reap City’s smoke-free roadmap. Making workplaces smoke-free is one of the best ways to improve and protect the health of employees and boost their productivity.
